One thing the Lake Tahoe area was missing was a year-round training facility for skiing and snowboarding. That void is being filled this summer with Woodward Tahoe at Boreal Mountain Resort, which is the newest addition to the other five locations of Camp Woodward facilities. They are leading action sports training and summer camp centers.

This summer, Woodward Tahoe will have summer skiing and snowboarding on snow and indoor training. The 33,000-square-foot facility, located just steps from Boreal’s main chairlift, is taking shape as the construction continues.

The Bunker will come complete with:

- Six Olympic-sized trampolines

- Indoor street/tranny skatepark

- Mini-mini ramp

- Skatelite ramps into foam pit

- Skatelite ramp into resi landing

- Three foam pits

- Full-sized spring floor

- Bouldering wall

- Tumbling track

- Double-mini tramp

- Parkour zone

Woodward could very well be the most fun place on earth for kids, as well as adults, that enjoy skiing, skateboarding, snowboarding, BMX-riding and gymnastics. It gives the ability to train year round in a fun and safe environment.

There are a number of different ways to enjoy the facility. There will be camp sessions for week-long campers between June and August. Camps start June 10 and will feature several guest pros throughout the summer. The first week is a ski-only week featuring Tanner Hall, Phil Casabon and Henrik Harlaut. Guests can also enjoy open sessions for two-hour drop-ins between September and April, Bunker Passes for the 2012/2013 winter season, and Ride with Woodward Programs for weekend only or season long training sessions.

Programs are offered for all of the following: skateboarding, snowboarding, BMX, skiing, digital media, cheer and tumbling.
