Powderhorn is offering something new this season, as the resort introduces a partnership with Steamboat Ski Resort. Powderhorn pass holders can purchase the Steamboat Five Pack pass for $149. The Five Pack is unrestricted and it includes five days of skiing or riding any day at Steamboat. That includes the Christmas and New Year’s holidays. It’s also non-transferrable.
“Powderhorn has a dedicated pass holder base and we have found our season pass holders are passionate skiers who enjoy Powderhorn as their home resort and visit other destinations throughout the season,” said Powderhorn Mountain Resort General Manager, Daren Cole. “Steamboat is an iconic Colorado resort and this partnership is a great example of building value and introducing new experiences for our customers.”
Powderhorn kicked off this season with new ownership. Andy Daly, who has been involved with Colorado ski areas since 1970, is the new owner. Daly is a former President and CEO of Vail Associates, which is now Vail Resorts. He is in partnership with Ken and Tom Gart. This is Powderhorn’s 45th season.
