Ski Sundown's Adult Season Pass for skiers and riders age 15 and up costs $579.

A Junior Pass for ages 7 to 14 costs $429, then $529.

A Child Pass for ages 6 and under costs $159.

A Super 70 Pass for skiers and riders 70 and older costs $99.

Sundown also offers a 10 percent discount for immediate family members buying three or more passes at the same time.

Pass holders received discounts on lessons, free tune ups from Ski Market in Avon; one free lift ticket for a friend; one 20 percent discount coupon for the Ski Sundown Ski Shop; and $15 off weekend and holiday and 50 percent off midweek full day/full price lift tickets at Okemo Mountain in Vermont.

The area offers other passes, as well.

A Once-A-Week Pass, good for your choice of one weekday each week through the season, holidays excluded, costs $199, then $229.

The Ski Sundown Savings Card costs $89 and offers savings of up to 50 percent on lift tickets through the season.

Ski Sundown, near Hartford, Conn., has 15 trails, 14 of them lighted for night skiing, and all covered by snowmaking. Sundown also has two terrain parks, Stinger and Sensation. Vertical drop from the 1,075-foot-high summit is 625 feet.

The trail network is served by three triple chairs, a double, and a conveyor.
