Welcome to winter, Northern California... it's been a long time coming. After a less-than-stellar year, the snow showed up big this weekend. More than 90 inches dropped in 72 hours at several Tahoe-based resorts.
Here's a sampling of some impressive Cali powder this weekend:
Alpine Meadows recorded 109 inches in 72 hours:

Squaw Valley topped out at 97 inches over the same timeperiod:

Further south, China Peak reported 72 inches in 72 hours:

And Heavely got hit with 59 inches:

Other significant numbers included Northstar, with 48 inches. Even some Utah resorts got in on the action. Sundance measured at 37 inches this weekend and Alta got 23 inches.
