Spring has arrived and Horseshoe Resort wants you to get an early start on your tan by coming out and enjoying the sunny slopes this week. The last day of skiing and riding will be March 22.

Lift tickets are $25 daily and room rates are $99 through Thursday. House guests get use of the indoor pool, hot tub and sauna, fitness facilities with daily classes and squash courts; all for no charge. The resort offers 26 runs, six lifts, a terrain park with at least 20 features, and the Thunder Valley Tubing Park with its own magic carpet lift.

Snowcross is returning to Horseshoe Resort with the last stop of the season March 30-April 1. They play host to the Dayco National Snowcross Championship Finals and for spectators, in addition to the vintage racing, there will be free demo rides.

It’s also the last chance this season to take a ride on the wild side with the Hummer Tours the resort has been offering all season. The Spring Special pricing is $29 CA ($29.25 US) per adult and $10 CA ($10.09 US) per child, eight and under. Prices are regularly $50 and $35 respectively. Each tour lasts about an hour and can accommodate up to 10 people. They have to have a minimum for four paying adults to run the tour. It’s not recommended for people with back and neck injuries and pregnant women. The terrain is rugged and beautiful.
