It’s all about improving by leaps and bounds at Park City Mountain Resort’s new freestyle camps.

Few resorts in North America represent the growth of freestyle more than Park City, beginning with the 2002 Olympics and the annual World Cup events. Now, young snowboarders and skiers ages 9-15 can become a part of that legacy. Whether making their first jumps or wheeling out a 540 on the Olympic Eagle Superpipe, the I Ride Park City freestyle camps will make a difference for all who attend.

Four three-day sessions have been set in March and April and feature a private progression park built specifically for the I Ride Park City Freestyle camp. Attendees will get instruction in all-mountain skills, and park and pipe technique – all captured on digital imagery. The camps keep the instructor-student ratio to 5:1, and group youngsters according to their abilities.

After the season began with the Presidents’ Day camp, the next sessions run March 13-15, March 20-22, March 27-29, and April 3-5. The cost is $450 if three days of lift tickets are included, $330 without lift tickets for those with season passes or other multi-day passes. The sessions run 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and include lunch, All participants leave with a digital video of themselves.
