Loveland and Subaru are inviting skiers and riders to learn how to stay safe when spending time on the snow. Master The Mountain weekend is coming up March 17-18. It’s a weekend dedicated to promoting a safe and enjoyable snowrider environment. Take a mini lesson in the Subaru Learning Lane, try Nordica demos, or learn avalanche awareness and take a beacon training session with the National Ski Patrol.
John Sellers with Loveland says, “They try to educate snowriders about safety while they’re up on the hill. We dedicate some instructors to give the mini-lessons every day.” Sellers adds that the ski patrol avalanche dogs will be there, too.

Sellers says Subaru sponsors the event and has a tent at the base area with free hot chocolate and coffee. There is also VIP parking in the front of the Loveland lot for anyone in a Subaru vehicle. “Subaru is a great partner and a lot of fun.”

Loveland is also sponsoring Hooky Day on March 8. The Thursday event is in conjunction with 95.7 FM The Party. Sign up for the Party VIP newsletter and you can get a $20 lift ticket for Hooky Day, instead of the regular $59 price. After signing up for the newsletter, you’ll get an email with the coupon in it.
Sellers says Loveland has hosted the Ski Hooky Party for a few years now. “They’re a lot of fun. They do an après party in the bar with lots of giveaways and drink specials. A lot of folks come up for the discount.”
