Bogus Basin always runs its season pass sale in February. But this year, the Idaho nonprofit ski area is offering a special incentive for current season passholders.

This winter, a dry early season postponed the opening of Bogus Basin until Jan. 19, the latest opening on record for the resort. Other Idaho ski resorts pitched in to offer season passholders from Bogus discounts during the dry spell, but for many passholders, the late start crunched the season down too much.

Bogus decided to launch its annual February sale with a special deal to give incentive current passholders to purchase passes again for next year. Current passholders can buy a season pass for next year for $179 — a drop of $20 from last year’s price. With the pass, purchasers will also receive two free lift tickets to bring others to the slopes.

The February sale also has season passes available for new purchasers. For those who do not own a current season pass, the passes cost $199. During the sale, family passes cost $716 for current season passholders and $800 for non-passholders.

The sale runs Feb. 20-26. On Feb. 27, season passes for ages 12 through adult go up to $239.

Bogus Basin season passes can be purchased online, in person, or by phone at 208-332-5162.  For more information, check here.
