Sneak off with your sweetheart for three days of wine, food, and snow at Copper Mountain. This weekend is the First Annual Copper Uncorked Wine Festival. Events include a Colorado Farm-to-Table Winemakers' dinner by Creekside Cellars. Saturday morning features a Bloody Mary Bar sponsored by American Harvest Vodka.

The Burger & Wine Challenge is what is getting the most attention. Chris Runyon with Copper says it’s all the craze in the foodie world. “Six chefs will be competing for your vote as they create delicious gourmet sliders that will be perfectly paired with 12 selected wines. These aren’t your typical burgers with a variety of different meats like: beef, chicken, pork, salmon, lamb, and bison.” Runyon adds that they encourage everyone to eat and drink their heart out.

The Grand Taste of Copper is Saturday night, where you can experience wines, beers, and spirits paired with a gourmet buffet dinner complete with decadent desserts. Everyone who attends receives a souvenir wine glass. The evening includes live music and a silent auction benefiting the Copper Environmental Fund.

Each Copper Uncorked VIP Ticket Holder also gets Early Bird Ski Access. Hit the chairlift at 8:15 each morning.
