Hood Meadows Runs February Specials

Oregon’s Mt. Hood Meadows launched into February with several specials. The deals offer inexpensive ways to get on the slopes for midweek skiing and riding.

For one, the resort is extending a Valentine’s Day deal for a week. You can buy two lift tickets for $79 to take your sweetheart to Meadows for a day. The tickets are valid from opening to closing, so you can ski or ride until 9 p.m, Wednesday through Friday. The deal is available Feb. 13-17, 2012, but must be purchased online.

Meadows also introduced a February Midweek Pass. The pass grants unlimited lift access Mondays through Fridays during the month of February.

The pass costs $199, a rate that pays for itself in three days. Skiers can upgrade a midweek lift ticket to the February Midweek Pass on the same day the ticket is purchased. You can buy February Midweek Passes online or at the resort.

On President’s Day, Meadows is offering night skiing at a discount. Lift tickets will be sold for $15 skiing 3-9 p.m at the resort or $10 online. Night skiing lift tickets usually cost $30.

Discounted lift tickets are also available for Mt. Hood Meadows at Costco. The tickets, which include ski check, come in two-packs, which cost $123. They can be used any day from 9 a.m to closing.
