The Festi Val Tho 2012 - the first free electro festival in the Alps - descends on Val Thorens March 27-29.

This year marks the fifth anniversary of the event. It is the first time since its creation that the Festival teams up with two giants of Culture Club - FG DJ Radio and Clubbing TV - to deliver an exciting programme, mixing different styles of electro, house, techno, trance and many more.

The three consecutive days of mega fiesta takes place at the Chalets du Thorens, which is the largest slopeside chalet in Europe. This year features music from Swanky Tunes, Sebastien Benett, DJ Paulette, DJ Getdown, Benjamin Franklin.

The live electro music electro will also be combined with extreme skiing competitions, one of the best is the Big Air Ride show, open to all freestylers.

A short festival package is available: four nights' accommodation and a three-day Val Thorens-Orelle ski pass from €171 per person.
