Most everyone is looking for a deal these days so they can enjoy their favorite Rocky Mountain resorts at a cost they can afford.
Now comes three Denver radio stations that make the drive to Monarch Mountain more attractive than ever. Until Feb. 20, the stations of KIMN, KWLI and KXKL have put a half-price sale on the table for all-day lift tickets. That means it costs only $28.50 to hit the slopes of the southern Colorado mountain just outside Salida.
To get the tickets, skiers and snowboarders must go to CBS website and click “Buy Now.” Purchasers will be asked to log into the CBS-Denver website in order to get as many tickets as they want. There is a limited number available, according to CBS-Denver, and a voucher printed from the website must be presented at the Monarch ticket window to get the deal.
Although the sale ends one minute before midnight Feb. 20, the vouchers can be redeemed anytime until Monarch closes, slated for April 15 this season. The half-price tickets are not valid on President’s Weekend, Feb. 18-19, or the spring break period, March 11-24. And, they cannot be used in conjunction with any other ticket deal at Monarch.
