Rock the Pistes in Morzine March 24-28

The Rock the Pistes Festival brings pop and rock music to the slopes of Morzine, March 24-28. 

The event attracts French and international musicians for five days of live gigs on the ski slopes. Skiers and snowboarders in the 12 Franco-Swiss resorts of the Portes du Soleil can access the festival for free of charge with their ski pass. 

The festival line-up has just been announced: March 24 Louis Bertignac; March 25 Gerald de Palmas and Medi; March 26 Shaka Ponk (Beatbox Set); March 28 Archive Acoustic and LYS - winners of the Warner Music competition during the Portes du Soleil's Festival des Concerts Sauvages 2011. Three more groups to be announced shortly.

The Rock the Pistes Festival Fringe will ensure the resorts of the Portes du Soleil stay buzzing after the gigs on the slopes are finished.

The Portes du Soleil ski area comprises: Morzine, Avoriaz, Abondance, Chatel, La Chapelle d'Abondance, Les Gets, Montriond, St. Jean d'Aulps, Champery, Morgins, Torgon and Val-d'illiez - Les Crosets - Champoussin.
