Sun Peaks Resort offers plenty of ski and snowboard fun for families. But what about after the lifts close down for the day? Sun Peaks Village has five fun family things to do together.

Every Wednesday, the ice rink opens for family skating from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Kids can skate free when accompanied by parents. Skating for parents and teens costs $5 per person, and skates for all ages rent for $6. Regular public skating sessions are available on other nights.

The tubing hill at Sun Peaks stays open until 7 p.m. daily with the tubing runs accessed via the carpet lift. Tickets for two hours cost $15 for adults and teens. Children, ages 6-12 can tube for $12 while kids under six can tube free.

Sun Peaks also keeps the Sports Centre open until 9 p.m. daily in winter. The center offers families a year round heated outdoor pool, a hot tub, and a children’s pool. Entry costs $4-6 per person, depending on age.
