Alpine Mountain Ticket Prices, Kids' Programs Offer Good Value

Alpine Mountain may have been the last Pennsylvania resort to open for the season, but it features some of the best values in the state. All day lift tickets and tickets for the 12:30 to 9:30 p.m. session are priced at $37 midweek and $46 on weekends. Seniors 60 and over and students up to 17 years of age pay $28 midweek and $33 on weekends.

Children's packages provide good value as well. The Just for Kids four-hour learn-to-ski program for children ages 4 - 12 includes a lift ticket, lesson, lunch and supervisions for $125 with rentals and $105 without rentals. The package for snowboarding costs $135 with rentals and $115 without rentals. Just for Kids single sessions are held on Saturdays and Sundays 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. starting Jan. 9. Registration is open 9 to 9:30 a.m. Multiple week programs also are available.

Four consecutive week sessions cost $335 with rentals and $285 without them. Snowboard rates are $385 and $325 respectively. Six week sessions are $470 and $410. The Alpine Mountaineers program offers more advanced lessons for children ages 7 - 15. The four week program costs $360 and $310 depending on rental needs. The six-week program costs $470 - 410.

Students who complete their program receive a certificate of achievement.

Alpine Mountain boasts 20 trails, a terrain park, a halfpipe, and a tubing park.
