Beaver Creek has debuted its new Haymaker Tubing Hill. Guests will go screaming down four lanes of 400-foot groomed track, at the top of the Buckaroo Express Gondola. The tubing hill is at the learning area for the Beaver Creek Ski School. The area is serviced by the Haymeadow Carpet, which is a new, covered surface lift the ski school uses.

Tubing starts every afternoon at 1 p.m. and runs until dusk. Those days will get longer as the season progresses into spring. All ages are welcome but there is a height requirement for kids to be a minimum of 36 inches tall. It really is something fun for everyone to try on your ski vacation. Cost is $20 per half hour.

It's also a great option for groups. "Tubing is a great family activity and it's the perfect complement to our other family-friendly programs," said Beaver Creek's Caragh McLaughlin.

The Ranch at Beaver Creek also serves food outdoors for tubing enthusiasts, including pizza, salad, and drinks. That starts at the same time the tubing hill opens. The downstairs dining room then opens at the end of the ski day for meals and drinks.

You can buy tickets on the day you want to tube, or you can make advance reservations at The Ranch, or the Beaver Creek Children's Ski & Snowboard School.
