Children can soon ski free in Crested Butte. The Kids Ski Free deal is good Feb. 22 through March 11. The deal is good for any accompanying children ages 12 and under who are with an adult who has made a reservation at Crested Butte Mountain Resort. The offer includes one free child's lift ticket per day of adult lift tickets purchased. Minimum three night stay.

Kids at Crested Butte also get their own trail map with details about kids-only trails, the Kids' Terrain Park, and a jib park designed for aspiring freeskiers and riders.

Kids 12 and under are also invited to Crested Butte's Camp CB program, which is an authentic, experience-based adventure camp designed just for kids. Also new this year is the base area Adventure Park which has year-round ice skating, bungee trampolines, a climbing wall, and a tubing hill.

You can also inquire about the Friends & Family Fly Free program at Crested Butte which lasts through April 4. Book a vacation through Crested Butte Vacations for three or more people and every third airline ticket is free. The maximum travel credit is $450 per free airline ticket. Some restrictions apply. Airlines that have direct flights into Gunnison/Crested Butte Airport are American, United and Delta.
