The Winter Dew Tour cruised into Breckenridge in mid-December for the Nike Open. It was business as usual for Shaun White as he took home first-place in the Superpipe Finals.

Good pipe, weather and the right speed are apparently all the ingredients needed to do 25-feet-and-higher backside airs. Shaun was definitely feeling the conditions as he threw up a massive method that still has people talking. With only a handful of days on the snow, Shaun was able to pull out a show-stopping performance and start his season off right.

The week started off with some riding at Breck before the contest got underway. This included hitting the super fun slopestyle course full of jumps and rails. From there he spent some time riding the pipe, as well as some sneaky tree runs just for fun.

With just days to get back to his contest riding performance, Shaun focused on his pipe riding and was able to pull out one of the largest airs done in a halfpipe. With 2011 in the books, we are excited to see what 2012 has to offer.
