Chugach. Powder. Guides. The name says it all. Chugach—the legendary Alaskan mountain range that has been featured in many a ski film. Powder—what every skier and rider that’s addicted to their craft seeks. Guides—well, this year CPG has more than just mountain guides… they have skiing and snowboarding legends ready to lead you into the Alaska backcountry via helicopter from their Girdwood lodge.

CPG has heli outposts in Girdwood, Tordrillo and Seward, Alaska. If you ski or ride with CPG in Girdwood this season, you’ll be in the company of legendary snowsports athletes like Chris Davenport, Lynsey Dyer and Bryan Iguchi.

Winter in Alaska can be finicky. That varied weather can really put a damper on a heli trip if they can’t get the birds off the ground. Luckily, CPG in Girdwood also offers cat outings and has Alyeska Resort in it’s backyard. So if the wind is howling or there’s too much snow to fly, you’re going to get your powder turns in one way or another.
