If you haven’t seen Tanner Hall’s film Retallack about, well… Retallack, maybe you’ve seen any one of the myriad of film segments or photo shoots that have been produced there including Red Bull’s seminal Cold Rush event. If you’re not a huge consumer of ski media, the fact that this cat skiing outfit is partially owned by Tanner Hall and Seth Morrison, and was chosen as the venue for the world’s most-prestigious freeride event should be an indication of what to expect.

Each ski day begins at 8 a.m. and goes until 4 p.m. Lunch, beverages and snacks are all served on the cat, maximizing your ski time and ensuring you get 8 to 15 runs a day, with their longest run clocking in at over 4,200 vertical feet. After a long day on the mountain, enjoy an Aprés party at the lodge followed by a gourmet dinner.

Be prepared for the best powder days of your life at Retallack, and if you’re lucky, cat rides from the world famous mountain-man-poet Karl the Gnarl.
