Want to hit Montana slopes in January or early February? Check out some of the lift ticket and lodging deals that Moonlight Basin is offering especially for mid-winter skiers and riders.
Moonlight has packaged a ski vacation with 20 percent off. In order to get the discount, you must book by Jan. 3. The discount applies to accommodations and lift tickets, of course, but you can get also get 20 percent off dining, spa treatments, lessons, rentals, and other services when they are added to your package.
Accommodations at the 20-percent-discount price are available in custom homes, lodges, and cabins at a variety of rates. Stays need to be reserved for three or four nights minimum Jan. 3 to Feb. 9.

The resort is also offering a do-it-all winter adventure package. The package bundles up three nights of accommodations in a mountain home with four days of activities that include two days of skiing, one day of snowshoe rentals, and one day of dog sledding. To celebrate, the package throws in a round of happy hour drinks for four people.
The adventure package costs $148 per person per day, based on quad occupancy in a mountain home. It is available Jan. 3 to Feb. 16. Those looking for a spring adventure can also book the package April 1-8, 2012.
Moonlight has put together a cozy cabin package for two people and adds a little romance with champagne, chocolate covered strawberries, and a couples’ massage. The package also includes two days of lift tickets, three nights of lodging, and dinner at Jack Creek Grille.
The romance package costs $185 per person per day. It is available Jan. 30-Feb. 16.
