Esprit Ski has reduced the price of a week's stay in Chalet Alpenblume, Obergurgl in Austria to £350 per person for the week commending Jan. 17.
The discounted price for the catered Chalet Alpenblume is based on family of four (total price £1395 for four people). The package includes flights from London Gatwick, accommodation on a chalet-board basis, three days' free ski hosting, and a free baby/child service.
The picturesque village of Obergurgl boasts a long ski history and an admirable snow record. It is also surrounded by the impressive scenery of the Ötztal region of the Tirol. Obergurgl is also one of the highest genuine villages in the Alps with good snow levels from November through to May. Skiers can reach a maximum altitude of 3080 metres and Obergurgl's big vertical is skiable right through the season.
The ski area is divided in to two sectors of similar size. The full vertical is skiable above Pill and Hochgurgl and doorstep skiing is possible from Obergurgl. The eight-seater Top Express Gurgl carries skiers and boarders in both directions between the two areas. The nine-minute journey over 3.6 kilometres offers scenic views.
