‘Twas the week before Christmas
when it occurred to me
I was missing a bunch of presents
for some of my family.
The snow was falling
and the mountains were white,
I had to think fast,
my time this year was tight.
So I thought about Santa
and his reindeer and sleigh
and it reminded me of skiing
on a cold winter day.
Visions of skis and snowboards
danced in my head.
Not sugarplums, but hoodies,
helmets and gloves instead.
So I shopped furiously at the ski shop
I admit I was quite a site
all the while shouting “Happy Christmas
to all, and to all a good night!”
