In Government Camp, Collins Lake Resort offers a place to turn a condominium into a base camp for skiing the three Mt. Hood ski areas. Mt. Hood Skibowl sits within walking distance while a short drive puts skiers and snowboarders on the slopes of Timberline Lodge or Mt. Hood Meadows.
Collins Lake Resort features condominiums in two locations: the Chalets that are suitable for couples and families; the luxury Grand Lodges centered around Cascadian stone fireplaces. Both the Chalets and Grand Lodges include year round heated pools, saunas, and hot tubs.
The resort offers several lodging deals for skiers and snowboarders this winter. A complimentary shuttle runs to the lifts at Mt. Hood Skibowl, but you’ll need a vehicle to drive to Mt. Hood Meadows or Timberline Lodge to ski.
Midweek skiers and riders can stay at Collins Lake Resort and ski free at Mt. Hood Skibowl. The deal requires a minimum stay of two nights between Sunday and Thursday. The lift tickets are valid Monday through Friday for day and night skiing at Mt. Hood Skibowl. Rates start at $60 per person per night based on quad occupancy.
