Red Mountain Resort may be one of the last ski and snowboard resorts to open in British Columbia each year. But it garners a loyal following of diehards who love to sink their boards into its powder glades or hit Link’s Line after a hefty storm cycle.

The wait is now over for Red Mountain skiers. The resort will launch daily operations for this winter, starting this weekend on Dec. 17.

Regional fans of Red Mountain can still purchase the new Vertical Value Cards during the first four days of the ski season. The cards, which are valid any day of the season, give purchasers two free ski days and lift tickets for six other days at reduced prices. It also includes benefits, such as reduced rates on lodging and cat skiing.

The card is available to residents of British Columbia, Alberta, and Saskatchewan. But due to the resort’s location so close to the U.S. border, residents of Washington and Idaho can buy them, too. The cards cost $39-79, depending on age. Find more information on the Vertical Value Cards here.

Visitors to Red Mountain can get one of several lodging and lift ticket packages with Red Mountain Resort Lodging.
