How would you like to ski or ride Michigan’s Boyne Resorts all day for less than $10?

The Mountain and Highlands kick off the holiday season with 6-for-1 day Friday, Dec. 16. This annual event pays homage to America's first six-person high-speed chairlift, the Mountain Express. Six people for the price of one, and it's good at either resort. A regular full day lift ticket, good at both resorts, is $52. Spend two nights over Dec. 15-17 and receive one Frequent Skier/Rider Card per unit, which is good for a daily unlimited lift ticket anytime during the season.

Holiday lift and lodging packages at the Highlands start from $161 per person, per night, based on double occupancy. The package includes an unlimited lift ticket, breakfast buffet, tubing and overnight, slopeside accommodations in the main lodge.

Boyne Highlands was the first Lower Michigan resort to open for skiing and riding this past weekend and conditions are improving. The Mountain plans to open this weekend.

If your spend three nights over Christmas at Boyne Highlands or The Inn at Bay Harbor, you get the night of Dec. 25 free. Call 800-462-6963 and ask for code: Nice List.  Click here for holiday lift and lodging packages.

Boyne has a full slate of events scheduled at both Michigan locations throughout the holidays. In addition to the 6-for-1 deal on the weekend of Dec. 17, there will be complementary horse-drawn sleigh rides at the Mountain and live entertainment at Everett’s. Both will continue to be offered through the holiday period.

Santa will be at the Mountain on Christmas Eve. There is special entertainment scheduled throughout the week between Christmas and New Years for both adults and children, special dinners to celebrate New Year’s Eve and a torchlight parade followed by fireworks over Boyne Mountain at midnight. Follow thishttp://www.boyne.com/EventsCalendar/Events/2011/December/BM_Holidays.html" target="_blank"> link for the full schedule.
