The Rock On Snowboard Tour brings contests, exhibitors, pro-rider shows and concerts to Serre Chevalier for two days Dec. 18-19.
The tour features more than 1200 boards from 25 brands and 150 bindings. You can also test masks, board cameras and other accessories.
Top brands exhibiting in Serre Che include Roxy Snowboards, K2, Nitro, Oakley, Burton, Rossignol and many more.
You can buy a Rock On Snowboard Tour package: three nights and a two-day ski pass from €150 per person.
After a pre-opening last Saturday (just for the weekend), Serre Che officially kicks off the season Saturday, Dec. 10.

Following closely behind the Rock On Snowboard Tour, Serre Che hosts its annual Festival For Youngy People Dec. 19-23, which features several shows, educational and creative workshops, parades and shows. All shows are free of charge.
The ski area features 250 kilometres of pistes at altitudes between 1200 and 2800 metres. Serre Che is a long south-facing valley between the Col du Lautaret and Briancon with several villages and hamlets dotted along the way: Le Monetier les Bains, La Salle les Alpes, Chantemerle - Saint Chaffrey and Briancon.
