New York Ski Biz To Feds: Help!

Seeing nearly $3 million in losses so far this season, businesses including ski areas, winter-related retailers, restaurants and hotels are asking the state to request an economic injury declaration from the U.S. Small Business Administration. If the request is granted, the affected businesses would be able to apply for low-interest loans. The weather is affecting the skiing and snowboard business in New York, New Jersey and most of New England.
