Indianhead Mountain, in Michigan's western Upper Peninsula, is offering attractive early season and holiday lift and lodging packages, and you can also save on lift tickets by purchasing them online between now and Dec. 25.
Early-season hotel lodging rates good through Dec. 25, are available from $55 per room. Holiday lift and lodging packages are available Dec. 26 through Jan. 3, starting from $84 per person, per night, based on quad occupancy. Save on lift tickets by purchasing them online prior to Dec. 25. Lift tickets are $39 online, which is a $10 savings off the ticket window rate of $49. You can save even more by purchasing lift tickets in three day quantities; up to a $43 savings per person. The lift tickets are valid anytime during the 20011/2012 season, but have to be purchased by Dec. 24.
There's still time to save on season passes. Through the end of the month, an adult season pass is $324, a junior pass (13-17) is $292, an individual child pass (12 and under) is $249, and a senior pass (65+) is $261. New this season is one free child pass with each paid adult pass. All season passes will be going up in price on Dec. 1.
Sister western resort benefits for Indianhead pass holders include a free three-day lift ticket with no blackout dates at Colorado's Monarch Mountain and Loveland offers a two for one lift ticket anytime throughout the season. You also receive 20-percent off lift tickets and lodging at Idaho's Schweitzer, and at Montana's Red Lodge Mountain you receive a full-day lift ticket for half-day rates.
Additional benefits include being able to bring a friend on select dates throughout the season to Indianhead for a $25 lift ticket over the holidays and anytime for the remainder of the season after March 1. The resort routinely stays open into April. You also save 30-percent on hotel rooms at the resort, based on availability and must be booked within 14 days of arrival.
Indianhead offers 29 slopes and trails, terrain parks and a halfpipe. It boasts award-winning dining, lodging, a health club and offers live entertainment on weekends throughout the season. They normally plan to open the day after Thanksgiving, which is Nov. 25 this year.
