It’s not uncommon for Midwest skiers and riders to see world-class athletes training at their home slopes. Otsego’s “O-Park” boasts the only Olympic-sized halfpipe in the region and regularly provides a training ground for the US Ski and Snowboard teams.
In early 2012, local skiers and riders will get the opportunity to compete on the national stage right in their own backyard. The USSA Revolution Tour unites aspiring skiers and snowboarders to compete in five days of events including halfpipe, slopestyle and skier/boarder-cross. This is a chance for enthusiasts to see history in the making and for young competitors to take the next step toward a career on snow.
Otsego Club and Resort offers a great venue for the event with plenty of lodging and dining options just steps from the action. After the competition reward yourself with a hearty and elegant meal at Pontresina Steakhouse and save room for the Colossal Messy Sundae.
