Save that boarding pass from your flight instead of chucking it in the nearest garbage bin. Seventeen western ski and snowboard resorts have partnered up with Alaska Airlines to offer deals. At most resorts, you simply need to show your boarding pass to get benefits.
Many ski resorts offer free lift tickets on your arrival day. Swap your boarding pass at the ticket window to get on the slopes for a few turns. By showing your Alaska boarding pass, you can ski free on your arrival day at Mt. Bachelor, Sun Valley Resort, Silver Mountain, Big White, Silver Star and Homewood Mountain Resort.
Two of those resorts tack on additional benefits for Alaska fliers. In addition to the free lift ticket on your arrival day, Sun Valley adds a free lesson the next day while Homewood offers a two-for-one lift ticket the next day.

Other Washington and Idaho resorts are offering discounted lift tickets with an Alaska boarding pass. Those flying to ski at Mission Ridge can buy one lift ticket and get the second one free. Skiers and riders flying into Spokane to visit 49 Degrees North can get $25 off the regular lift ticket price. Brundage Mountain gives Alaska fliers a third lift ticket free when buying two at regular price.
Skiers and riders flying Alaska Airlines to select Alaska or California resorts can get ticket discounts, too. Eaglecrest gives $20 off the regular adult day lift ticket price. Mammoth Mountain offers a 50 percent discount off a full day ticket with an Alaska boarding pass from Seattle, Portland or San Jose. Sierra-at-Tahoe gives $20 off a lift ticket with an Alaska boarding pass from Reno-Tahoe International Airport.
Three western resorts offer lodging and lift ticket specials for those traveling to their destinations via Alaska Airlines. Special lodging and lift ticket packages are available at Whitefish Mountain Resort, Alyeska Resort and Kirkwood Mountain Resort.

Big Sky Resort and Moonlight Basin have lodging specials for Alaska Airlines fliers. Big Sky gives a 20 percent discount on select hotels and condos while Moonlight adds on a fourth night free.
Alaska Airlines fliers can also get a discount on heli-skiing in Sun Valley. Epicquest offers $100 off a day trip plus use of Salomon demo skis.
Be sure to check the fine print with the deals. Some discounts include stipulations. In addition to the discounts mentioned above, several of the ski resorts are offering additional lodging deals for Alaska Airlines fliers. Find out more here.
