Get ready to crank it up a notch when you join The Canyons Ski and Snowboard School for either Holly Flanders' Women's Only Ski Workshops or Brant Moles' Steep Skiing Camps this winter.
Flanders, a former Olympian, World Cup champion and Park City local, returns to The Canyons Resort to run her popular women's program Jan. 8-10, Feb. 5-7, and March 5-7. The workshops enable women to improve their skiing in an atmosphere of support and friendship. Ladies will get three days on the slopes with women who ski at their same ability while they gain confidence together to challenge themselves. Individuals must be intermediate level skiers or above.
The Steep Skiing Camps will be hosted by World Extreme Skiing Champion and cutie Brant Moles. This camp will provide participants with the tools necessary to handle the more extreme terrain that they may encounter as intermediate-to-advanced skiers try to take their big-mountain skiing to the next level.
This camp, March 5-7, is not for first-timers. You already know how to ski, and you stopped taking lessons years ago. What you want is to be able to perform as comfortably and confidently in the steep and deep as you do on the rest of the mountain. This three-day clinic will focus on getting attendees to ski steeper, more technical terrain safely and confidently.
Moles has been coaching and competing for years and will share the skills and techniques, physical and mental, that helped him conquer some of the most extreme terrain and become a national and world champion. Plus, he's just a really cool person to ski with.
The cost is $484 for the three-day workshops. Lift tickets are sold separately.
