The first big snow storm of the season swept through Oregon’s Cascade Mountains this past week, blanketing slopes with a dose of winter white. While most ski areas have several weeks until they crank up the lifts, several are offering ticket deals to help skiers and riders get on the slopes this winter without paying full rate.
Mt. Ashland is offering the Mt. Ashland Slider Card. The card, which costs $50, allows cardholders to purchase lift tickets for $8 off the ticket window rate. The discount applies to day or night tickets. The cards are on sale through Dec. 4.

Willamette Pass sells a 5-Day Super Pass. The pass, which costs $189 for adults, gets the purchaser on the slopes for five days at a price less than four days of lift tickets. Passholders can also ride the Willamette Pass Express for $11. The pass functions like a season pass, with direct-to-lift access. Nordic trail access is included, too.
A junior 5-Day Super Pass costs $169. Masters and youth can purchase a 5-Day Super Pass for $109. For those who use up all five days and want more, the passes can be reloaded.
Spout Springs plans to run their two-for-one Friday food drives. Skiers and riders can trade in three cans or two packages of non-perishable food to receive two Friday swing tickets for the price of one.
