It was a good day to be a Colorado skier as both Copper Mountain and Keystone Resort opened for the season.

Copper Mountain opened with three lifts and four trails opening up 49.7 acres of terrain coated with an 18 inch base.

Keystone Resort opened with top-to-bottom skiing and riding, two learning areas and one of the largest early-season terrain parks around. Guests were treated to free hot chocolate, coffee, donuts and free photos with the earlier-than-expected debut of EpicMix Photo, the award-winning ski and snowboard platform, website and app that combines photos with ski day/season stats and digital pins.
