Sunrise Sees Snow

A light dusting of natural snow fell at Sunrise Park over the Thanksgiving holidays. Skiffs of snow still cover the grass on Lodgeview Run. The resort also fired up its snowmaking guns, building up snow piles in high traffic zones on the lower slopes. But daytime temperatures still hang well above freezing, prohibiting round-the-clock snowmaking. Forecasts call for possible snows in the White Mountains the last week in November, which could bring Sunrise closer to opening.
