Hoodoo Ski Area continues to offer ways to get lift ticket discounts. Special discounts are available throughout the season on Tightwad Tuesdays and any day with the resort's Anycard or Club Hoodoo cards.
Hoodoo has brought back by popular demand their Tightwad Tuesdays. Lift tickets are $19 for any age and any time during the day. Tightwad Tuesdays start Jan. 5 and run through Mar. 16.
Anycards offer a way for skiers and riders to pre-purchase five discounted lift tickets. The cards, which cost $165, allow purchasers to get five lift tickets to be used any day or any time. No blackout dates apply to the cards; they are valid during peak pricing holiday and weekends, too. Anycard tickets also work for night skiing.
The five lift tickets work out to $33 per ticket compared to adult tickets at $42-45 at the window. Anycards are transferable. You can share them with friends and family. Anycards are not sold at Hoodoo, although you can purchase them at the resort with a minimum three days advance notice. They are available at 11 locations, which are listed on the resort's Web site.
Club Hoodoo cards also provide a way to ski or ride at a discounted rate. Purchasing the club membership allows for cardholders to buy discounted lift tickets each time they ski. Members can ski with discounts all day, into the evening, or on peak days. The cards are available for purchase in person at the resort or online.
Adult Club Hoodoo memberships cost $75, which allows members to purchase lift tickets for $26. Club Hoodoo memberships are available at $50 for young adults 25 years old and younger and at $40 for juniors 11 years old and younger-which allows the young adult lift ticket to cost $24 and the junior ticket to cost $19. Night skiing for Club Hoodoo members costs $10-12, depending on age.
