They're skiing between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. at the area, on Machine Groom, Packed powder conditions. Temperatures are jumping into the 40s during the day. The Elk Mountain snow crew made snow last night on the Susquehanna, Lower East Slope, Tioga, Beginner's Slope, and the West Slope. They currently have three lifts running and pledge they'll be making snow today on the Upper Tunkhannock and the East Slope. Snowmaking continues as temperatures permit.
