Nashoba Valley Ski Area in Westford has put together a program of lift tickets and lessons for skiers and riders looking to hit the slopes over the Christmas vacation week.

Nashoba offers the three-day vacation program for adults and juniors. All students must be in at least kindergarten to participate. The package includes a day lift ticket, valid 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., and a one-hour group lesson at 10:15 a.m. or noon, one lesson per person per day. Participants who plan to rent equipment are advised to allow an hour for fitting.

December vacation programs are offered Dec. 24 to Jan. 2. Participants can pick any three days, and must check in at the ski school desk each day. The package must be used within that time frame, or will be forfeit.

Cost is $170 for either skiing or snowboarding.

Nashoba has more than 70 percent of its terrain open as it heads through mid-December, with more opening each day thanks to an excellent stretch of snowmaking weather.

The area has nine lifts: three triple chairs, a double, three rope tows, and two conveyors; 16 trails and a glade; and 100 percent snowmaking and night skiing.
