Okemo Mountain Resort is offering another luxury option for dining out this winter.

Guests board a 10-passenger Snow Cat at the Jackson Gore Base Area, prowl the mountain for 15 minutes, and wind up at epic, Okemo's premier dining spot for a five-course dinner.

Space is limited: epic will have three seatings each of the Saturday nights, for a total of 30 spots at the table.

Cost: $125 per person, with drinks, tax, and tip extra.

"After settling into a seat with your dining companion the engine rumbles and the gears engage, coaxing you gently into the comfort of the seat back. Soon, the golden glow of light from trailside homes comes into view en route to epic, Okemo's eclectic mountainside restaurant for a five-course candlelit meal prepared especially for you by Chef Craig Cornell.  When you're fully satiated and warmed to the core from the fire, it's time to make the trek back to Jackson Gore.  The snow cat awaits you in the crisp winter night, to take you on your journey back along the snowy trails," says Okemo's Bonnie MacPherson.

The Snow Cat Dinners are offered every Saturday evening Dec. 26 to March 13, except Feb. 13 and 20. Dinner also will be offered on Valentine's Day. Departure from the Jackson Gore Inn lobby is scheduled for 6:30, 7 and 7:30 p.m. each of those Saturdays.
