The much anticipated Factory Outlet store for the manufacturers of  Salomon, Suunto, Atomic, Arc'teryx, Bonfire, and Mavic is now open to the public in downtown Ogden. Amer Sports Winter and Outdoor Americas (ASWO) is a subsidiary of Amer Sports Corporation, the world's leading sports equipment company with internationally recognized brands including the brands above in addition to Precor and Wilson. Now, you can try them out for 30 to 50 percent below retail.

"Opening this store allows us to be more closely involved with the greater Ogden community.  The Factory Outlet is an exciting way to expand our product lines and to offer the local community quality sporting goods products," said Mike Dowse, President and General Manager, Amer Sports Winter and Outdoor Americas.
 
The Factory Outlet store was created with the environment in mind, much like the way the historic AmeriCAN Building was renovated using "green" practices.

The AmeriCAN building and the Outlet is located at 2030 Lincoln Avenue in Ogden, Utah. Select apparel and accessories from each of the brands are for sale. Only the soft goods are on the floor now but soon buyers can expect hard goods as well.

The Factory Outlet store is open Thursdays, noon to 7 p.m. and Fridays and Saturdays, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. The store will feature Salomon footwear, clothing, helmets, and accessories, Suunto wristop computers, Bonfire winter apparel and accessories, Atomic bags, Mavic cycling shoes and apparel, and Arc'teryx technical outerwear. Make sure you factor in some time to visit Ogden the next time you plan a trip to Snowbasin and Powder Mountain.
