Get Kicking Horse Lodging Package With Heli-Ski Day

Kicking Horse Mountain Resort offers a way to get the best of two winter worlds: resort skiing and backcountry skiing in the Purcell Mountains. The resort has a lodging package that combines two days of lift-accessed skiing inbounds with one day of local heli-skiing.

The package requires a three-night minimum stay at Kicking Horse Mountain Resort with lodging in a hotel room in the Glacier Mountaineer Lodge, located at the base of the Golden Eagle Express Gondola. Amenities at the lodge include a hot tub, sauna, and steam room.

The package combines lift tickets for two days of skiing or snowboarding at the resort and one day of heli-skiing or riding with Purcell Heli-ski. Additional days of lift tickets for the resort or heli-skiing can be added to the package.

Purcell Heli-Skiing accesses 2,000 square kilometers in the Purcell Mountains west of Golden. The company guides ski and snowboard tours that use nearly 200 runs on a variety of terrain: alpine glaciers, open bowls, and glades. The helicopters depart from Golden, which sits13 kilometers from the ski resort.

The package starts at $1,250 CAD per person during value season. Rates are based on double occupancy.
