Breckenridge's snowpack for late October is stellar. We've had a cold and snowy pattern here in Breck since September 21, and snow that has fallen on the upper mountain hasn't melted. This current storm is building that base. Looks more like late November up here right now. Meanwhile, A-Basin should be opening more terrain soon.

Why do you guys keep posting this? The only place in the country getting any natural snow is Washington. Stevens and Baker both have over 40" at the base and had early openings. All the Colorado areas are operating on man-made snow. Colorado is not and has yet to get "pounded." At it stands now, it looks like el nino is going to affect California, the Central Rockies and the NE more than the PNW.
