Celebrating its 25th year, Pittsburgh’s ABC affiliate WTAE-TV Channel 4 and Seven Springs Mountain Resort continue their Winterfest tradition of festivities Feb. 17 - 26, 2012.
Winterfest is an annual event showcasing all types of snow and slope activities to help guests enjoy the winter temperatures, with live entertainment, karaoke, family activities, snowtubing, a torchlight parade and more. It's a great chance for skiers, riders and other guests and members of the community to get together and have some fun.

Even the members of WTAE Channel 4 get in on the action during the snowtubing, beginner lessons and story time with the kids. Plus, news achors will broadcast live throughout the week, right from the base lodge.
Event highlights for the week:
- Snow Tubing with WTAE Channel 4 anchors
- Eastern Snowboard League Rail Jam sponsored by Forum and Snowboarder Magazine and will be located in The Streets.
- Movie nights
- Take Your Parents to The Park Day
- Rollerskating party
- Tuesday night Tube-a-palooza party with a bonfire and hot chocolate.

There's also great deals for first-timers to take advantage of. On Wednesday, Feb. 22 learn to ski or snowboard for just $30. Includes: Rental equipment, limited access lift ticket and beginner lesson.
