Alpenglow Sports and Alpine Meadows Ski Resort come together to put on its fifth annual Alpine Touring and Telemark Demo Event. Everyone is welcome to come checkout the latest and greatest telemark and alpine touring equipment on Saturday, Feb. 11 at Alpine Meadows. This year's demo event will take place between 9 a.m and 3 p.m weather permitting.
The demo event is a great opportunity to try new gear and also to meet new like-minded individuals. The event is meant to provide a forum to spread the enthusiasm for all aspects of backcountry skiing and in-area skiing.
A broad assortment of equipment will be available including gear from vendors such as Black Diamond, Dynafit, G3, Scarpa, Garmont, Marker, Volkl, DPS, Moment and SkiLogic. Come out and try top-of-the-line equipment from these leading retailers of touring and telemark gear.
The event is free to all, but participants must have a season pass or a valid lift ticket from Alpine Meadows or Squaw Valley. They must also bring a valid drivers' license and credit card for deposit.
