An added bonus at Appalachian Ski Mtn.: Buy next year's pass and ski for the rest of this season, projected to end March 29.

Current members receive a discount off their 2009-10 membership if purchased by Oct. 1.

Appalachian also offers a greater discount for third, fourth, and additional family members.

Season members have parking privileges in an exclusive parking lot closest to the lodge. Members are issued car windshield decals and a picture ID to present at any of Appalachian's ticket windows to receive their ticket for the day or night.

Appalachian's members also have the benefit of a first preview night for new and sale items the night before Appalachian's annual Tent Sale and Ski Swap, this year to be held Oct. 16-25.

Passes for new members cost $465 for adults, $405 for students, $370 for juniors/seniors/military, and $10 for children 5 and under.

Family memberships for new members cost $705 for the first two persons, $315 for the third, and $210 for each additional.
