Waiorau Snow Farm

Area Profile

Waiorau Snow Farm is New Zealand’s only Nordic and cross-country ski area. 55 kilometers of carefully groomed trails snake across the hight Pisa plateau and ski in/ski out accommodation is available for the adventurous. The main season is from the beginning of July to the end of September. Events are held during the season and cater for all levels from the citizen skier to the international racer.

Lodging Profile

Base lodge which can house over 70 guests with both ensuite and shared facility rooms (all of which are "walk out the door skiing"). Comfortable lounge with dining and full bar facilities. Viewing deck with 360 degree panoramic view of the Southern Alps. Ensuite bedrooms. Meals. Altitude shop, gymnasium, function rooms.

Services Profile

The ski school caters for the first time skier to the expert racer. The trail fees include road usage and lodge facilities for day skiers. Tubing. Luge. Ski Events.
