  Pros: my favorite and closest N.Island skified (NZ)

  Cons: weekend & school holiday crowds

  We went up for 2 days 10/11 Aug 2009 Weather great spring weather at base but colder up at the top of Movenpick. winds NW and picking up around noon. good base... Full review

  Been snowboarding Turoa and Whakapapa for years. Frequently hard packed days, but when it's on it's on. Don't bother with the weekends unless you go hiking. A hike to the crater is... Full review
