Nice neighborhood!! Pavement, marble, climbing wall and bungee harnesses for the kids on the back deck, check. Anything qualifying as anything more difficult than a cruiser? Ummm, gets a bit subjective here. Windham is a nice place but, anybody who feels the need to really bend their skis would do better somewhere where the lines on the topo map are a little closer together. Each of their two primary chairs has three or four interesting runs. Once you've skied those and taken a couple runs on the eaiser stuff in-between, you've pretty much seen the place. That doesn't mean that I wouldn't strongly recommend it to those with families and deep pockets. It is a nice, well managed, expensive resort that, I imagine, would make anyone comfortable for a weekend. Plus, the hill is at least big enough to get the quads burning if not steep enough to make you care that they are. That being said, I actually think they decided the economy was an excuse not to make any snow last winter. I was there on March 7th. Almost everything was open but, without much base and, with no visible reserve to plow into the hill. Go to warm up for the year, to get to the next level, or, to treat your family. Go somewhere else to rip some turns.
