wide, open space, great slopes for all levels, lift speed, nightlife, short drive
no glades, somewhat icy conditions, lodge feels cramped
Windham is simply a great mountain. It was my first time out of pennsylvania skiing and i have to say it was AWESOME.
windham is a great resort for the whole family, however speed demons are better off at hunter. windham has plenty of diversity in it's slopes, from easy, winding trails such as wallstreet to hard, uneven, rugged courses like wicked. windham does not have a glades course. every trail at windham's name starts with a "W" which adds to the family fun and uniqueness of the mountain. windham has fast lifts and GREAT food in the cafe, however the lodge feels really cramped. the night life is alright, uncompare-able to vermont.
windham has three terrain parks, which are alright, including a huge superpipe.
overall, this is a great place for tristate skiers to come enjoy themselves, the locals and staff are very friendly and knowledgable- it'll be a great trip
