Not much good to day about Windham. There were a few staff that were friendly, but admin organization at Windham is awful. It took us 1.5 just to get our rentals, the line wrapped almost all the way around the rental area and had no signs to direct you where to line up depending if you were a skier or snowboarder. It was complete chaos. They only rent snowboards with step-in bindings and don't tell you that until you've lined up for 1.5 hours. Although the day I went was pretty warm, it was not a holiday weekend and the lift lines were never ending. There are tons of small children (on par with Bellayre). And if you need to use the bunny hill, it may be difficult because there are tons of small children and their parents who are neither skiing nor snowboarding just walking around the middle of the bunny hill in their shoes, stopping on the middle of the slopes enjoying the view. I even saw a guy walking his dog across the bunny hill. Staff never even attempted to ask these people to get off the hill. As for the other runs, you'll be waiting a long time to get up the lifts. Given, anything close to nyc is going to be crowded, Windham is not doing a very good job managing the crowds as best a it could, neither inside the lodge or on the mountain. Not recommended.
